Been waiting for a day like today. It was strange - cloudy and foggy in the floor but at some altitude it was amazing!! Drove down to Mt. Rainier - I had never been - and in the Park went up to Paradise (with several stops along the way). Sharing one of my favorites of the day - the sky was amazing - hope everyone had a great Friday and has a safe trip this weekend.

Hope to get out again soon!!!

Bummer! Just found out about this meet and I usually have "congress" approval.
I took my family for their first wheeling in the Yeti to Tahuya in Nov 2013 with another local smaller group and it was wet/muddy but got to venture up one of the rock garden but no muddy pools (even though I am snorkeled).

I have found that Tahuya has many difficulty levels from beginner to more advanced. I did see a F150 quad cab out there squeezing between some of the trees on the flats.

    Have fun and take photos/videos.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
Followup- It actually got here today. I have 32.5lbs in my tire so I dropped it to 28, hooked up and let it go. Maybe a minute later it was back up to pressure. It runs surprisingly quiet. I'm impressed.

Interesting: Viair's gauge on the 85P pump does not read the same thing as the handheld Viair gauge I got in the same order.

Correct. Not much was going on at work today so I pretty much read every thread I could.

x2.... air down to 12psi and back up and see how long it takes.

I run around 12psi in the dirt, 5-2psi in the snow depending on the snow condition and 35psi on the road.

I took mine to Michaels Toyota. Not recommended. They aligned it but it had way too much toe in. I went back a couple hundred miles later (I think it has a 1000 mile warranty) after I really noticed the uneven tire wear. They re-aligned it but told me they aren't comfortable doing lifted trucks. They claimed they sub alignment work for lifted trucks to Les Schwab... I obviously won't go back to Michaels for such work.

Maybe when I get some big boy tires I can be cool and drop closer to ten (snow being the exception heh heh) :D

Thanks for that!! Although I have not had problems with Michael's -- I am not the most intelligent consumer in these things and do really like Les Schwab and use the one on 148th for the other car and most other needs!! Will be visiting there with the truck if I notice anything!!

    :)

Anyone know of a black or dark grey taco driving through Auburn today? DCSB, had an aftermarket bumper (couldn't tell type), snorkel, hard top and was lifted. Not sure what else because I was passing it.

Well...I didn't. Yet. I'll defer to those of you with more experience for airing down recommendations at the time. I've never had to do that before, so...new thing for me!

Definitely depends on the tech working on it and how much effort they're willing to put into it.. I took mine in to Les Schwab twice, both times they claimed the numbers are a good as they could get them because of my lift. The 3rd time the tech was able to get everything within spec, so I keep that print out as proof for each time I take it in now, so I don't get the "as good as we can get it" special. Les Schwab also offers 30 day warranty so if you feel its not right just take it back in.

I've seen one on hwy 18 close to what you described and also ran into the same truck up Tinkham road in the snow... I think I found him on yotatech a while back but haven't log on there in a long time so I couldn't tell you his user name off the top of my head... who knows though, I see a lot of nice Tacomas around pretty frequently but never cross them on forums
