Haha, I'm sick of brushing my truck off and wasting gas letting it warm up! Also sick of snowmobilers thinking they own the road I'm driving on :frusty:

I might have to make a trip down to Louisiana early next month for a track day there. I have an itch.

Hmmm black 1st gen xtra-cab... sounds familiar... hehe welcome Blake!

You sir have the wrong mentality to be living in the UP! ;)

Not sure if he will see this (or what his screenname is) but I talked briefly with a guy in the standale meijer parking lot who had a tan 2nd gen single cab. He flagged me down because he recognized my front bumper from here on TW :D

I am actually begining to enjoy the winter again. I have been driving the trail jeep. On the new treads and limited slips front and rear it has been tearing around, just sucks in the wind because of how high it sits. I am having fun just driving over the drifts.

Who wants to do a snow run? I think a few jeeps from down here would go.

I'd be down as well. I'm not even going to say how long I should be in town for. As soon as I do I'll get an itinerary handed to me and I'll end up in like, Texas again.

Where do you guys want to go? Is yankee springs a good place for a snow run or any other ideas?

Yankee is an awesome place for snow runs. Plenty of challenges. Unfortunately due to the ice storm we had, a lot of trees have fallen and made trails impassable. I haven't been out there since so DNR might have cleaned up but I doubt it.

Maybe Saturday I will try and get down there to survey it. See if it's a possible location. After the last couple snow falls it'll be pretty difficult to wheel.

I'll have to join you guys wheeling at least once this summer.

Before I do that, I need to replace the 2" spacers on my truck with some Billy 5100s.

    DAMNIT!

Never fails. As soon as I make plans to go check something out the boss comes and asks... Hey you want to go to some warmer weather? Needless to say I might not get to do any wheeling for a week or two.

Both you and your truck will love that! I HAD spacers and wish I would have just went with the Bilstein 5100s to begin with.

Or you could just buy my Foxes and UCA's. Then I would be forced to buy a LT kit.

Haha I don't need anything that extreme, it's just a daily driver.

I would just prefer not to blow out my ball joints and axles.
