lee, it would be a great world if our trucks came stock able to do these things.

but then were would the fun be in that. half the fun is building your truck
to your wants and needs.

 

That crawl control and manual tcase are sick. Good to know toyota is improving things.

 

Know the felling .. When the father in law died he wanted me to have his guns. His grand kid's all came home from college as gun haters. It broke his heart. I dont know what Ill do with mine when the time comes. Guess just sell off all the long guns. No kids around the house so I keep a loaded handgun in each room. The USA has changed so much in my lifetime just do not know where the young ones heads are at..

 

this country is being brain washed about the true reasons as to why
we need our guns. alot of these people out here will believe anything
that is put on the news now a days. People need to get a history lesson
now a days to see what this country was founded upon.

Yeah, but just think, if a Toyota made a truck that could do that stock, imagine what it could do once you built it up.

Besides, for me personally, I kinda hate working on my truck (I'm fat and lazy with a bad back after all, lol). So if I could buy one, for a reasonable price, that was already built to do everything I wanted to do with it, and do it reliably, then I'd be as happy as a puppy with two...well, you get the idea. This way you could spend your mod money on stuff like plate bumpers, extra armor, and cosmetic stuff for an individualized look.

Plus...you'd be able to go out there with all those sweet, built-up rigs and taunt them about how much time and money they have tied up in their rigs to do the same thing that you're doing in a bone stock rig.

 

Our young ones 25 to 40 Y.O. are all college grads book smart and a half , but they do not have the common sense God gave a door nob. Really sad to me in a way..

 

it is, really is. man i wish my family had old guns to hand down to
me. but thats not the case.

So i will be up to me to get what my family needs to pass down to my
children. i only hope they will understand why we need them, plus i plan
on introducing my kids into guns while they are young so they learn to
respect them but also know how and when to use them.

there is hope for the human race! although ive never been hunting and dont have my CC yet im a firm believer that everyone should know what to do with gun in there hand and way everyone is a little bit safer. once i do pick up a handgun im going to do everything i can to get my parents to the range and fire a gun for there first time in there life

 

Well, that's why what Wes and I were doing was fantasizing, lol. It'll never happen, but sometimes it's fun to play "What if..."

It's too bad that there aren't more hardcore wheelers in positions where they could make such decisions. It's also kinda sad that nobody, 'cept maybe Nissan is making a "small" truck anymore.

 

Do it man, I got my CCP and I like having piece of mind that if i were to get into an altercation that i need to use my Firearm i can, only if i absolutly have to of course.

Sometimes i cannot believe that i went so long without one. Never doing that again thats forsure, buit before i can get anymore i need to get the wife a gun first. she wont let me get another one untill she gets hers.
Which is fine with me at least shes not one of those "why do you need a gun" kind of girls.

No, that's the one long gun I'm keeping 'til I die.

It'd be hard to find a buyer for it anyway since it's chambered for a Wildcat cartridge. Have to form my own brass and everything. Not that it's hard. I just neck up 6mm BR or neck down 7mm BR brass, but it's not something just anyone is comfortable with. I'm also using a set of modified Redding Dies to load for it. I use a Redding Competition bushing-style neck sizing die for a 7mm BR with the 6.5mm sized bushing. For bullet seating, I'm using the Redding Competition bullet seating die for a 6mm BR that Shilen opened up to 6.5mm BR with the same reamer they cut my chamber with.

I want to get into my own reloading just have to wait till
i have an area where i can set up a good work bench so i can start putting together a good kit.

 

Depending on what you're hand-loading for, it can be very rewarding. If you plan to hand-load for a pistol though, make sure the range you go to allows hand-loads. Some indoor pistol ranges don't.
