My graceful move of the day:
Brought Jodi's 4Runner to the stereo shop in town for a new radio, the old one finally gave out. We waited in the TV room while the tech installed the radio. The waiting room has a raised platform where the nice comfy leather couch is. Yes, that's right, I got up to leave and walked off the platform like it wasn't there. Went ass over teakettle right in the middle of the TV room. Must have been particularly entertaining for the other folks watching TV. Left shoulder and right ass cheek will be a bit tender tomorrow.
That's all I got for now.

We were in a Lazy Boy store tonight and a boy was in there with a lacrosse stick. I wanted to say something to the mother but didn't as well. I mean WTF is he doing with a stick in a furniture store.

 

I still haven't sent your thing either.

 

I'll be fine (I hope), but I definitely don't bounce up the way I used to!

Some folks just weren't meant to be parents, unfortunately, they breed anyway.

 

You would think the dealer is offering me a swap out for a new vehicle. Sad it does not work tis way.

Hi Susan, thought you'd appreciate the Fairbanks piece. Dispatcher I was talking to has lived there 20+ yrs; he said yesterday was the first time he's seem them close runway at Fairbanks Int'l. Freezing rain coming down so fast they couldn't put down enough chem to keep it melted.

I get them regularly Tom . I even had a salesman tell me he could get top dollar for mine ...until he checks the car fax and finds out it was broadsided . with $12000 in damage. Then his story will change.

Parents and kids need to get a grip on things. Drove past a bus stop and the parents are in the car with the heater going watching the kids standing on the bus stop wearing shorts & light sweatshirts . Makes me wonder who the parents are (kids or them).

Ahh cool... We dropped kiddo off at babysitter and went out to dinner... Then did a fire pit fire for an hour or so and then got the kiddo... Nice little evening.
