    Wow! thanks
There are many very nice and capable trucks here on TW that inspired my build. I really wanted a functional and capable rig that looks good too
Your truck looks good! I really like your rollbar/roofrack, and one day I will have a snorkel too :D

I really like the truck. Congrats on the 4runner. My neighbor just got one too and now it's my turn. We'll be twins soon.

Thanks for the reply! So you think i should invest a lil more money and get either the FOX/ICON instead of the original OME i was trying to get? And how often do i need to rebuild the shocks? Don't really do sever off-roading.

I was planning on going with ome too, but decided to spend a bit more. Not real sure how long they can go for between rebuilds. The guys in the mid travel thread should know. I don't have any dessert here, so without high speed wheeling, mine should be able to last awhile. If I had known these fox shocks were steel, I probably would have went icon. Lots of people seem really happy with their ome lifts tho. Eventually I want to get a better leaf pack like the dakars.

the way your truck sits in very first pic is pure sex, its what I'm after for my 13', I already have the Level 8 MK6s (similar design to Konigs) and going to buy the duratracs 265/75/16 with OME 3in lift plus bushwhackers ...great build man!

Hey how do you like the duratracs? I think those are the only 265/75/16's that I like the look of. They look meatier and fill up the wheel well a lot better than some of the other ones I see. But how's the on road traction in rainy conditions? Reviews say it doesn't perform well in deep mud but that's not a real concern for me. I don't think I'll be doing much deep mudding.

Thanks man! That helps out a lot. I don't mind a little noise. It'll remind me that it's not car. And I like the way it looks on your rims so thanks for the input. I think I was steering towards BFG AT's up until now. But I don't like the way they look of the stock rims. Is there a noticable difference with on road traction in any conditions? :burnrubber:

Air compressor heat sink did pretty well this weekend. Didn't pop a hose like I did w/o it. Just ordered a braided line and going to keep it on.

Actually, I still wake up at 4am even on my days off
I really like my duratracs. I get the occasional slip taking off from a stop light in heavy rain, and it has great grip. Not sure if you saw this post, but it did fine in heavy rain and slick mud. There was a long steep hill that a 4x4 ford ranger with BFG AT-KOs could not make up, and was forced to turn back. I made it up with pretty much no wheel spin. The third pic in that post is a long steep "S" turn, and we had to come back up that in the downpour. I crawled up it no problem. I've been in some of those mud pits at kaena pt, and had no problems. They will dig very big holes in the sand very quickly unless you have ATRAC tho :D
I also went with the duratracs because according to the specs, its slightly bigger than most 265/75/16 tires. The aggressive threads help make them look bigger too. If you ever want to swing by my place and go for a quick spin to test them out and hear the road noise, just let me know.

Glad its functional and you are still using it!

There you go again with the ATRAC comments! ;) how much did you pay at goodyear? I think I'm set on the DuraTracs. I got a quote for $174 per tire installed. What did you pay or yours?

Not sure on the exact price because I got new wheels, So I had to have them remove the TPMS from the stockers and install on new wheels, then install regular valve stems on the stock wheels and rebalance those too so I could sell them quicker. And I got the road hazard warranty. All of that was around $1200.
If you can get them for $174 installed, I'd jump on it!

Bulla, how you like them wet okoles? I know they're supposed to be great but I've seen some reviews of some people having issues with the stitching separating near the seat belt areas.

I'm in the current group buy. Just had to ask first.

Mine look the same as the day they were installed. Except for a few random dog hairs...
Holding up really well. They are a must for me since I jump in my truck after work covered in bilge water, cutting oil and metal chips. I should start wearing my coveralls at work and taking them off before I hop in the truck.

I like the half piping look on the WO. But the standard covers look real good too. I'm definitely gonna get em now.

:D Finally got my dream grease gun! Yes, I dream about grease guns...
Plews UltraView clear body pistol grip grease gun. Much better than the cheapy mini grease gun I was using to grease my UCAs.
