    Just cut it in a spot where it doesn't end up blowing right on the spare tire or a leaf pack. I cut mine too high and had to add a piece to try to make up for it.

    Mine was like this, but it make the exhaust a lot louder, so I added a piece to blow it straight back and it helped a lot but melted my leaf pack isolators. I'd suggest cutting it as far out from the axle as you can without it hanging too low.

    Dang... looks like the steering rack is about to get overhauled, both tie rods are seized.

    New moog inner/outers on order; doing the poly bushings while I'm at it.

    Sounds like he's the guy to go to for steering issues. I may have to bring my truck there, I think my rack is shitting the bed. Steering feels a little loose in the middle, then after I make turns it tightens up and was having issues holding alignment. :confused:

    Unless wheeling hard leave it as is. Cutting it is illegal as it must exit from truck. If you do cut it save the pc so you can clamp it back on to pass inspection.

    Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong with my truck? Randomly it starts pulling to the drivers side and starts hopping a little, almost like the tire is really bad out of balance. Yet if I stop or slow down and then speed up, it doesn't do it again. Happens whether going 25 mph or 65 mph. CV axles aren't torn, but I'm wondering if maybe the cold is causing them to bind up. They are at a bit of an angle from the lift.
