    I was simply just told by a couple guys that they may not work with 5 lugs, but it's completely just based on what I've heard. If you can make them work for you, then I don't see why you couldn't try. So, to answer your questions...

    1. 980-02-372-A (The current shock models are made as remote resi's now instead of piggyback but still the same 2.0 shock)

    2. They are in fact designed for a stock height 6 lug Tacoma. The retailers state that they are a direct OEM replacement for 0-1" of lift.

    I originally purchased these shocks from Off Road Warehouse. You can see my exact model on the Camburg website with the corresponding part number 980-02-372-A sold as "Fox 2.0 Factory" for $550

    They will fit and have down travel for days. But up travel is where the problem exists. 5 lugs are lower than 6 lugs. You run the risk of bottoming out the shocks before hitting the bump stops on the leafs. Therefore destroying the shocks. Either way that's a good price an I am almost tempted to buy them. But dat LT tho.......

    Sorry Justin, I don't mean to ruin a potential sale. But I would hate to see someone buy them and destroy them the next weekend and be screwed.

    No worries Mitch but yeah I don't doubt you're right about that. I'd really like to sell them to someone who could actually use them and I wouldn't want to see anyone experience a failure any more than you would.

    If nobody ends up taking them, I might just keep them and run limit straps. I'm just trying to achieve my build to where I can maximize travel with a longer shock that can take advantage of the full droop capabilities of the new springs. I already have money saved up for one shock, I just need to sell these so I can afford the other one.

    thanks Austin.was it expensive to get your bumper done?i feel like I am not going to be able to sell my wheels for what I want for them so I am most likely going to end up keeping them and getting them painted/powdercoated glossy black. some guy offered me $ 300 for my 17 " trd wheels .that's with the tires. to me they are worth more.i have them listed for $650.you guys think that's too high?

    It's wasn't expensive, but I got a deal I'm pretty sure. If I had to guess, I'd say your wheels will be $150-$200, which isn't bad.

    Man, I see one of you BBT guys a few times a week in henderson near the auto dealers at like 95 and auto show dr in the mornings. But I drive a goldish colored explorer with full glass so no way you'd likely make the connection. It's a blue crew cab, looks really on maybe 35's? Anyways, nice ride if you happen to see this and are the one that's in that area around 6:30AM on many weekdays.
