i bought a 2008 access cab a year and half ago,got stolen.now i just got the 2010 double cab with the TRD 4liter automatic 5 speed no atrac switch i do have the LSD.Can anyone tell if it is normal that while sliding in snow i got sort of a grinding noise and vibration from the front end and a beeping alarm from the dashboard.

Welcome to TW. I can't answer the skid question, I live in Phoenix and Vegas and don't encounter snow very much. You mentioned being a better semi driver than typist.

If you don't get an answer from a forum member about the limited slip, use the search function. It will point you to postings that might contain that information.

If you can obtain a CDL you can negotiate this forum with our without your seatbelt.

CDL: Commercial Drivers Liscence. It's what we call the liscence to drive the big rigs. Canada must call it something different.

Sounds line a SPORT TRD and not an OFF ROAD TRD? You don't have the Rear Locker switch either, correct? Do you have the ornamental hood scoop?

hello David K I had the rear locker in my 08 the one that got stolen but in this one you are right I don't have the switch and I do have the scoop

 

koditten in my part of Canada it's known as a class 1 license.

 

Don't rely on tires to save your rear end it's driving ability along with comen sence that is most important
