I've done both a set of red and a set of black. Both fit fine for me.

Looks good, might want to leave 1/4-1/2" of space between the top of the bumper and the body panel to allow for flex of both the bumper when it takes a hit/stress and the panel as it will naturally flex a small amount on the trail.

Tried doing some retro stripes with plasti dip. I tried the stripes with 3 angled blocks w/ 2 stripes that venture toward the rear. I ended up not liking the 2 stripes because I still have the stock pin striping and it looked like crap. So I kept the 3 blocks. They are just a first try so not perfect but they give me an idea of how it would look. I'm also thinking of removing the pin striping and redoing the retro stripes. y2egudys_2555985210abdbc81f4723f31aac51ba945d6642.jpg9ebazuva_a5e422f495501eb7072c08e3deadb3fb3ce4aa22.jpg

Freed up some weight in the rear, removed the undersized spare and accompanying brackets, rear bumper, and tow package. Than I relocated the license plate and made a quick bracket to mount one of the license plate lights so I'm legal.

Curious does anyone know the correct license plate light LED equivalent?

I should have done this a while ago, went for a test drive and it feels a lot lighter. Also now I am wanting to hack off my tailpipe since it hangs down so much.

    before and after.

Haha, Yeah I saw your post just before I was going out to do mine. Your look good too. I gotta remove the pin striping then re-do the dip

I wish mine were a little thicker. I may go back and widen them a little bit. Yeah it'll look good with out the pin stripe! Are you gonna do both sides?

I will have to see if my rack is the cause of my clunk. My steering is tight, so I assumed the rack is solid. I didn't consider it as a clunker.

the rack does move even with new bushings. But that does seem a bit much.

My clunk started (or at least I started noticing it) after I put on my kings. I thought they were hitting my cv so I switched them side to side. They didn't look side specific when I compared them. Then I discovered the front diff was barely holding on so I tightened that and thought that could be it, but it's still there. I guess I will do rack bushings next weekend and rule that out since I have them sitting here anyway. (black energy suspension)

Yeah I'm gonna do both sides and maybe the rear, near the back fender flares. Do you have any tips on removing pin striping?

When I removed mine on my old car (should be the same thing) I just brought out a hair dryer and just went along very slowly heating it up and peeling it off. Worked like a charm
