Very nice truck. After seeing your post in the Plasti-Dip thread, I came over to you build page. Your bumper came out great and that convinced me to do mine this weekend. I also have been considering a light bar and the Avid looks sweet on your truck so I'll be placing an order for one myself. I have the same steps and the light bar is a good compliment to them. Thanks for the inspiration.

Go for it! I think it performs much better than stock with just a mild lift on it. Certainly a lot more fun in the mountains :D

Yeah I bought them that way and then turned around and sold my stock ones for more than what I bought the black ones for! Keep that in mind before breaking into your stocks....

Cool! Thanks Bagman. The bumper was so easy to do and looks so damn good I wish I had done it earlier. Make sure you contact Avid for a discount code before buying one. The quality is top notch. Took a couple weeks for it to arrive and then I had mine powder-coated.

How has the rear bumper held up? Is it pretty easy to clean? I'm planning on doing my bumper and the rings on my wheels this weekend.

Bumper has held up great, no problems at all. I wash it like normal, no issues there either.

Hey, what suspension did you install? Is that the Toytec lift?? Also, with the new Dakar leafs, does the rear still sit higher than the front or is it completely leveled out?

OME. check the first post for details. Sits level or with the slightest of rakes.

Nice build thread. You have good taste and clean work. Don't see hardly any pyrites here in FL. Ever work out that issue with your shock?

Thanks Seminole. I'm actually up in SC but the family is in FL. I did figure out the issue, just flipped the washers around and bought a new one since one was so bent out of shape.

Gotcha, glad you found a fix. If you're ever in the Jax area, hit us up on our region thread. Keep up the nice work. In the middle of a Satoshi build right now.

Theres a plastidip mega thread on here somewhere. Ive put a couple write ups on there too. Look through this thread too, I showed how to do the emblems, grill surround, and the rear bumper.
