Has anyone attempted to put the early 2000's 4Runner fogs into a Tacoma? I was looking last night at a couple pics online but I'm not sure if the cut outs in the tacoma lower bumpers are the same as those on the 4Runner, obviously I'd take the indicator's from the 4Runner as well and just replace the whole Tacoma unit...
    Anyone?

yeah, that's good enough, what did you do to sort out that set-up? Presumably your bumper turn signals are no longer active?

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
I just want to put lights in my bumper, I don't care if they work. I just hate those stupid black filler things where the fog lights go.

t is actually VERY easy. All you have to do is swap the wires going to the "DRL's" and replace them with the turn signal. Run the turn signal back up to the "DRL" and the "DRL" to the turn. This will however cause the blinkers to have what is referred to as "hyper blink" This is where the blinker flashes at a very rapid pace and the reason for this is because the bulb that is where the "DRL" was does not generate sufficient amp so the truck thinks that it has a blown bulb. I am still trying to figure out how to fix this but I haven't come up with anything yet. I hope this helps... Let me know if you need anything else.

:pbuck teeth. IMO measure 4 runner lights and the fog light spot on your bumper and see if it will fit.

Yeah but if you take the time and extend your wires I think it wouldn't happen.

Well what i did was make custom brackets out of metal and placed them behind the grille and then mounted my fog lights behind the grille. Pretty sic looking mod and it keeps them hidden. If you wanna see click on the link. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3355885
