    Hi everyone,
Please don't rip on me I'm new to forums. I just got a new 14 taco. I want to do a 3" on it I have read lots of info on this forum already. I would like to place the toytec 3" with front coil and rear option. I choose this for price and I think the OME shocks should be ok.

Will my OME shocks work with this? Will this be suitable for daily commute and occasional off roading?

Thanks for the help. Anyone in NM that could help with install would be greatly appreciated and compensated.

everyone on the forum will suggest new shocks, coils, AAL but if you spend your time on the road and going mostly for looks, like your factory ride, get a spacer up front, a block for the back, save a ton and spend it on hot wheels and tires. My local taco dealership uses the kit from Low Range Offroad, online, and lifts them new, has had zero issues but not a hard core lift. Get your tires and wheels, later if you want something better, can upgrade to OME or billy's. The forum here hates this idea but if you aren't wheeling hard offroad, this works

I am not only going for looks. I like to camp, fish, and off road a bit in the spring and summer so. Thank you for the input though

Hey man, welcome to the forums!

I have the OME shocks & 881 coils with an aal on my ride. Love to fish, camp, offroad...etc.

Unfortunately I drive 90% on road and 10% off when I get a free weekend. With OME, I am stoked with the ride on and off road. Handles moderately high speed well offroad. Obviously LT would be better, but I'm not looking to fly through the desert.

I recommend OME for your situation, with moderate offroading and daily commutes. It works great for me, albeit, I have a 1st gen. Not sure that there is that great a difference which would render my opinion useless.

Not sure if you're asking if Toytech coils will work on your OME shocks? Or if the OME setup is ideal for you. I think Toytech sells Bilstein and OME.

I got 2.25" of lift- not quite 3", but lifting that little bit higher causes minor cv issues, and I'm not looking to get that gnarly yet.

Hope this helps your situation. If it's OME you're looking at, I'm a huge fan.

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. I was asking if the Toytech coils will work with my OME shocks. This is great info though and again I appreciate it.
