2014 Rock Therapy - Official Thread

Polls work good for that. I'll post one up at some point. I run a spreadsheet with attendees from that list and will update the first page periodically with the attendee list. Been a bit swamped at work so I'm behind with some event stuff.

 

Well it is 4 months out still, so you have sometime. People plans can change a lot by then so it's not worth posting it up yet.

 

Submitted my vacation request at work to make the trip. Once approved, short of the ChiComs invading, I'm going to be there… To say I'm excited would be an understatement!

 

If anyone is interested, I compiled most of the pictures (just got almost 200 more from Mike) from when I ran Helldorado.

Yeah for the last two years there have been like 20 guys from AZ and every year it has been me alone who made the trip. Well I did bring andrew last time but he wasnt a member until after.

putting new gears in the front clam.. why because i can..

 

clams are fun to re-gear. what are you putting in? solid collar or crush sleeve? new bearings, too?

 

crush sleeve, replacing the Ring and pinion 4.88's with new 4.88's inspecting gears and replacing one of the bushings in the ARB.. just want make sure it's all good for moab and then selling it right after..

 

when I get back from MOAB I'm selling everything under my truck from the drivelines to the tires. 4.88 gears arb lockers front and rear.. if the rear one ever shows up.

 

kewl...... that's a very good idea. bushings? did one of your air seals go bad? not sure what you mean by bushings..

 

at first im going to try and sell it all together but im sure that wont happen so yeah first guy with what im asking or highest bidder takes it.. I want my tons under the truck

 

Just picked up a blue tooth addapter that turns my phone into a scan tool.

 

I have one of those too! I use it to read the codes on my car. haha

 

Does it read abs/airbag faults as well? Dumped the scangauge a while back and have been looking at getting one of these but want full functionality. Anything beats a jumper wire on the OBD ports...but it works.

 

That I'm not sure on. Probably depends on the app you use as well.

It's pretty similar to the Ultra-Gauge I have in my Tacoma.

 

mine was an EasyDiag addapter that says it will read anything but theres a catch you have to pay for vehicle specific softwear. i looked into it the tool is $60 and to buy toyota softwear it's another $40 so at $100 bones i think it's worth it, esp when compared to the 3K and up generic scanners we have at work.

 

since im sasing as soon as i get back from this trip if any of you first gen guys want my spare parts that would be a great time to save on shiping. i can make a list of what i have.
