X2 with Dora and Stallone but I don't agree with Mike being one of them. Let's make a bet! $20..Mike isn't one of them :p

Hope everyone is alright and made it or will make it home safe.

Ben with a hurt motor. Myself with the busted third. Tallon with the twig-like drivetrain. I believe Sean had to replace a half axle on the trail. :)

sounded bad. Oil coming right out. I believe the thinking is that a rod blew.

i had to get a flatbed to get my truck home. i could only move forward a few feet before the rear wheels would lock up. then id have to back up to dislodge whatever was making it stick, move forward a few feet, repeat. Took a while to get back to the staging area. i had to get winched/pulled downhill.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
    12:45 and I'm still awake.

It was a great first time out for me - I learned a lot! It was great to meet all of you TWers. One of the things I liked the best was that when something happened or someone needed some help, people just stepped up and did what needed to be done...trying to make sure everybody had a good time. Thanks for having me along!

I have others but these are the highlights. So...here you go:

    Staging:

To all those with a bet, I survived. I did something weird with my exhaust, I think there's some separation where the y pipe meets the rest. Sounds like it has aspirations of being a rowdy 22R when I'm in first, or a wet fart Honda.

If someone had told me this is how the day would have turned out, I would have said impossible. TW again takes it to the next level

oh man! poor Ben :( I ALMOST hydro locked my truck a few months ago. I thought it was for sure. Got water up into the throttle body. Took it straight to toyota and they took it apart, let it dry changed the sensors and oil and it was good.

Snorkles aren't a bad idea around here, I'm thinking I'll be getting one once my truck is fixed.

Looks like it was a great run minus the carnage! Good luck Ben and everyone else that got banged up! keep us posted on the recoveries!

It was a great run. I don't know what everybody else's problem was. It was totally easy!

...for someone that didn't try The Hill o'Doom, driving underwater, and stayed on the roads. :D

I took my truck through a few trails there, but where it looked too sketchy, I avoided it.

On that 4wd bet that got started with Tallon, Mike was the loser on that, and very early in. Gotta say that the guys from the tow company that took Will's truck were, um...special. Not quite sure I would want them ever hauling my truck anywhere, not because of their habits, but because of their choice on when to use their habits.

While everybody else took off for more trail running, I ended up staying with Ben and Will, and probably a good thing. The tow truck had a hell of a time trying to find us and finally got close, so I drove over to them and led them over. While Will's truck was being winched onto the flatbed, the back end kept dragging left, so I got into my truck and put a chain from my truck to Will's rear bumper and started pulling it over so they could drag it onto the bed.

Just before the tow truck was about to leave, Mike showed up saying he needed Will's driveline. By then, I was already aired up, and since I had a few tools with me, I followed Mike. Hitting trails with tires at 40psi is a bit of a rough ride. As Mike and I were almost out there, Tallon was running his truck as front wheel drive and making his way out with everybody else.

All said, it was not the best day wheeling, but like somebody said earlier, I love this group because if there is a problem, everybody is ready to jump in and help without asking for anything in return.
