Hello, first post on Tacoma world. I was hoping someone might have had this problem or might know a solution to my problem.

I have a noise coming from my front end. It's noticeable at 60km/hr and quite noticeable at 30km/hr. The dealer said it was my wheel bearings so I replaced them. No change.

The noise I'm hearing is a vrrrr........vrrrrr........vrrrrrrr. I feel it slightly in the brake pedal and steering wheel. Yesterday I thought I would put it in 4x4 and see if the noise changed. Well it completely went away. Put the truck back in 2whl and the noise comes back.

If anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it.

One last note, it's not the tires. The noise has been there with three different sets of tires.

    Also it's a 2006 dbl cab with 125,000 km's.

    Thanks for the help.
