Goo Gone. If that is too slow, Goof-Off is a little stronger, but more petrolium based compared to the Goo Gone citrus based.
Then clay bar, polish and wax.
I just recently removed company logo stickers from a work truck to replace with new logo, and also removed the window visors from my Tacoma ( been on there 12 years) and both times Goo Gone was used first, but too slow, Goof-off got most off, except for around the edges where dirt & grime had packed over the years, then used clay bar to rub those edges clean.

I hosed off my weathertec mats, cleaned my windshield inside and out and wiped down the dash, bought some Meguiars plastic renew crap and cleaned up my fender flares, cleaned my wheels and bought her some new valve stem covers. Was actually productive for once.

Added a glove box light to my base-model. :p
Got it out of a 99 Celica (rarely any Tacos at the local PNP's). It seems to be the exact same socket. Wired it up to one of the AUX circuits.

Pretty trivial, but it kept me out of the house, and in the garage :D

With the guidance of some TW members, I was able to solve the mystery of my ghost rear locker (sticker and actuator but no button).

Or if you have some extra time..you could like..triple layer it. Do one like its sitting now, then rotate it and do another layer, then do a third just like the 1st but offset it a bit...

I like your concept but yeah like others said, I think you should get a less see though mesh , it'll look better and also keep rocks and stuff from possibly flying into the radiator

Totally trying that tomorrow. I wonder if a double layer offset would be enough...
