    The important thing is parts that you really need to make it home. Atleast that's how I look at it. Finding a way to get your truck home 250+ miles away won't be cheap. It would either be a expensive tow truck bill or spending hours waiting for someone to make the drive to pick it up with a trailer.


    There's now way of preparing for everything that could possibly go wrong.

    I carry 2 cv's, inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, pre-runner spindles (mine have the hubs already on them) u-bolts, Leaf spring pins, brake lines.

    Example... If I break the rear ring and pinion, I'll take it apart take the ring gear off and bolt it back up and still can make it home in 4wd.
    Something in the front diff breaks... I have manual hubs so I can just unlock and make it home.
