ok you want to talk about pussystrokes, why do so many ford guys do a cummins swap if the powerstrokes are so good?

They don’t BREAK as easy as a powerstroke. I guess they do brake easy because they are found on the side of the road unable to go anywhere, so i guess those brakes do have to be pretty good.

edit. also do you have any video of this? i still don’t see the taco pulling over 10k pounds up a hill on wet ground. even in 4L and keeping it in 1st gear. Hell i have had less than 3k pounds and was on a somewhat muddy logging road with a slight hill and i could not get moving with my terra grapplers and in 1st gear and in 4h. I had to back down to where it was flat to get moving again, even with the trail grapplers over my terra graps i don’t see it happening. maybe if it was less weight, but not close to 12k or 13k pounds. Even on flat ground the taco is going to have a hard time getting it to move, I think if it could get it moving it would be ok thats close to 2x if not more than 2x the max towing of the taco.

lets see cummins dually is 7k or more,
trailer is probably close to 1500 or 2k,(depending on exact size and if it’s steel or aluminum.
buggy is probably close to 4k if not more.

If it destroyed the truck then that means the bumper held up great. The truck had some issues however.

^^ depends did the bumper damage the frame or the body? if it damaged the body it would probably had to bend and thats not what you want.

Depends on what you want. Steel plate bumpers are designed to not crush in while being off-road where as a plastic bumper would. This results in not damaging the rest of the truck. However there is always a point where the weakest part will break. Most plate bumpers are made from 5/8, 1/2, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/4" steel, all of which are thicker then your truck frame. So the weak point is the frame. Hit something hard enough or in the right spot and you have a pretty good looking bumper still with a "totaled" truck. This is why they are not street rated. Get in a wreck with a plate bumper and the bumper should hold up good while it completely destroys everything else it touches. Front bumpers arent "supposed" to do that unless purposely built that way. From the sounds of that story, it destroyed the truck, while holding together, just like it was designed to do
