I'm thinking of getting the MeFOTO road trip travel tripod. Been watching some reviews on it. I'm pretty impressed with it. Can't go all the way to the ground with it, but that's not the main reason I'm wanting a tripod.

Went through all my photos, did a quick edit on this one. If you see any strange lines in the foreground its because I was shooting through a metal fence. I had a ton of good panning shots ruined by the fence. I'll continue to post throughout the week.

I'm assuming that was a series of vertical images stitched together?

What software are you using to do that? Any time I've tried to do a pano, the perspective hasn't been correct and the images don't match up trying to stitch manually.

That waterfall looks really cool, but it seems a little blue to me. Did you try adjusting the white balance to change that or is that how it really is? I'm mainly looking at the tree in the lower left of the picture.

Ok, cool :)p), I wasn't sure if that was the case. Being from so cal and now living in nor cal with a very warm winter I'm not used to photographing cold, snowy areas...

This is one of my all-time favorite vertical panoramas. I wish it was a little wider or that I made a grid instead of just a verticle line of shots to take more in, but I still really like it. It's from this random fire road in Willamette National Forest in Oregon. I did a road trip there with my girlfriend back in summer of 2011. (Let's see how well it shows up here...)

    Thank you

This was my first time panning, I definitely have plenty that are blurry or shaky.

Hey Rich, look into Microsoft ICE if you are on a PC for panoramas.

Nice, dude! Well worth the trek, that's a beautiful waterfall.
Yeah we were just movin' along and all of a sudden that was on our right, just had to stop to take a picture. It's a really beautiful area if you ever get the chance to check it out.
Yeah, I sorta learned that after a while, but I still need to start doing that. It's a bit counter-intuitive. I wanna go back to that scene and take a new one.

45,000 square feet of rock face. 40-45' walls. Top out boulder. It's pretty sweet really.

and thanks. Indoor shots usually kick my ass, but these turned out nice.
