    The navi controls are only available via voice control while driving. It takes a bit of getting used to but is competent.

    Did you do the calibrate option in the settings? Of course you can only do it while stopped.

    Pretty easy. For the heck of it I went online and got myself a VIN number from a burnt out Taco that had Entune. Works with the iPhone app. But can't really use it since I only have the Audio Plus HU.

    It was a 2013 model. It's one of those site where you bid on wreck vehicles. I kept trying different VIN's till I got that one.

    Not really sure on the legality of using another VIN number(s) from yours.

    Hey all -

    I've searched high and low for the info, but can't find it...Working to get the 2014 Nav HU installed on my 2010 Taco...

    By any chance, what are you all doing around removing the pins from the factory harnesses (to relocate)? Is anyone using a special tool? Or is any one buying a raw harness, or new pins (which I know are pretty costly)?

    Get you one of those screw drivers made for glasses and file it down to a nice thin point. The connectors have a secondary and primary locking tab. The secondary tab is on the top or bottom of the connector. The primary is very small and locate inside each pin. I will see if i can get you a pic of each.

    Just out of curiosity, why go through all this trouble when an aftermarket unit would be easier to install, and more than likely perform better. I'm not trying to bash you guys. Just trying to understand the logic. Do the factory units offer something after market doesn't? Or are you just trying to keep the OEM look to prevent theft?
