    I have found a lot of this is true. Do to the fact that a lot of people don't have very good input on shit beside what they have read on here or other forums. Like what suspension to get, what lift to get, what gears to get. Most of the info these people give out are fucking wrong and those people that give the info never had or had very little experience with the subject

    I kid… I kid… Just giving you a hard time.

    As for my rig, very little was bought new and shiny. Instead I'm after functionality versus bling. That would account for having Kase build my rack and bumper. I don't need to have the prettiest things just because it's the "in" thing.

    I have a goal in mind of what I want my truck to be capable of and a plan to get it there. Can I afford to buy the nicest and most expensive mods out there? To a point, yes. But so far the only things I've bought new are the front bumper, snorkel (you too lucky to find used), and sliders.

    In the end, we have to make ourselves happy. Not the guy next to us on the road. I for one will be hitting the trails hard, and not afraid to mix it up once I get my tacoma to a point that it's sufficiently armored. Subject to work of course.

    And for those who do want the latest and greatest shiny toy. I say go for it!
