I just had my single cd in dash head unit replaced do to intermittent power on and offs. Since then when I have the sub turned on and a FM station selected when the sub "hits" I get static in ALL speakers. I informed the dealer of this but they blame poor radio signal since this does NOT occur with a CD. However I clearly showed them the static or interference ONLY occurs when the sub is on. Unfortunatly they are not willing to investigate further at this time. I also called Toyota directly and was informed since no TSB exist there is nothing they can do.

Have any of you experienced this.

By the way the BASS is set to 0.

i would say... its an 09... you should have bumper to bumper... so show the dealer it has this problem...

go get one of those fm transmitter things for portable mp3 players or cd players
where you set the station on the transmitter and your radio and it picks it up
then show them with that where its perfectly clear until the bass hits hard...
if they don't want to fix it... then... get their boss... and their boss... and so on and so forth

Hmmm I think I had a problem similar to this and the plug from the amp to the subs wasn't pushed in ALL the way... did you check the wire connections?
