Long story short, some drunk a**hole punched a hole through the left side of my 3 panel sliding rear windshield. Called around and only had people tell me I'd have to replace the entire back windshield. Is there any way around that? Any places online or around me that can replace only one side?

    Thanks

It's all one piece, sealed. I don't think that you really have a way around that.

Even if it was a close friend I'd still atleast ask to split it with him and return the favor if he thinks other wise :)

If it was a close ( real ) friend, You would not have to ask him to pay.

Your insurance might have a glass clause... Or at least a cheaper deductible for glass than your normal deductible.

I just had mine replaced 2 weeks ago. I was loading fire wood and a piece hit another piece and broke the right pane. I called insurance and asked if they could do anything and sure enough they replaced the whole thing without cost to me. So check with your insurer first to see.

Unfortunately, I wasn't around when it happened and came out to my truck to find the hole in it. Hopefully insurance will have some type of coverage over idiotic rampage on a window.

Just had mine replaced on Tuesday. It has to be the whole window and mine was 760 bucks all said and done. Glass was 540, 120 in labor, and other misc costs. Good thing I have fille glass on my insurance. Lucky for you you dont have to remove your entire bed like I did. Flatbed probs...
