Irratating

My truck has less than 500km on it and some jack ass that has sat in my passenger seat has put two large scratches on the inside of the door just below the window. In any used car/truck no one would even notice it. However, the fact that the people who have sat in it (my friends and family) know that it is brand new should have been a little more careful. All that I can say is, it is very irratating at the very least.

Sorry to all that had to endure this post and hear me bitch. Just pisses me off.

 

Yeah, there is one on my passenger door, I pointed it out to my wife ONCE. The look I received said "Shut up Dan" so I did. I told her later it was no big deal, I'll just buy new panels

 

yep, same here only it looks like my girlfriend wanted to do the job right and put about ten scratches in a 3'' area. After many warnings it was still destined to happen at some point.

 

yeah my truck is the same way, i think its just the plastic they used scratches really easily

 

I'm lucky, my girl has only put a slight scrath on my glove box door with her purse. It was handled in such a way that she won't scratch anything again.

 

That stuff is bound to happen and it sucks when it does. Sadly can't stay new forever.

Yeah....It's wild to see the differences in glass...That OEM glass used to be worth it...not so much any more.

On another note- and heat gun and some rubbing may help mkae that scratch less noticeable...or go with the new panels plan...

 

vasoline works very well on interior scratches. jsut dab it on and smear it in

 

And works well on other things too.

Hello new signature

 

I did it playing around with the wires behind my headunit. I let it dangle there for a few minutes while I tapped into a wire. When I lifted the HU back into it's housing, I smacked myself for not protecting the dash below the air controls. It is ALL scratched up. I need to try the vasoline trick because I have heard that works.

Yeah I feel yah!! I think I was a little bit to careful with my truck though when I first bought it. I've mellowed out quite a bit though so...
