I know the idea of this thread is for fun, set a challenge and learn from it.
This thread is not supposed to be serious, because it is not professional.
Now my question: is allowed to have a image manipulation by software it must come directly from the camera?
Sorry if I did not see this comment earlier.

Yes. Edit away! Because it is just a fun deal to keep us out shooting, there arent really any rules. Just the "has to be taken after the challenge was issued"

Well looks like we don't have any rule but to be more consistent with the challenge (because this is how to take the picture and not how to post-produce the picture) software manipulation shall be minimum or not at all.
I don't want to start a debate about it, just an observation.
    Thanks

    What haven’t I changed?
I think it just depends on the assignment from week to week. Generally, corrections in post processing such as white balance, exposure correction, cropping, and cloning out distracting elements like dust spots are acceptable. Black and white conversions are acceptable. I would consider multiple exposure HDR is generally acceptable, but probably not for this week's theme because of the strict 1-second shutter speed requirement (unless you do "faux HDR" with a single 1-second exposure). Cutting elements from multiple photos and combining them into a single image in Photoshop is probably not acceptable unless the theme specifies it because it starts to leave the realm of photography and enter into digital art.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

we have talked about this once long ago and Gage is a big graphic artist and can REALLY get super creative with stuff in PS and such.

While yes, this is more about shooting and learning your camera, it is also about learning post editing. Many of us edit our photos, myself included. But yes, there is too much. I mean. If your just gonna shoot a lady and then PS in a totally different background and stuff like that...thats a bit too much.

But don't feel like you have your hands tied to not edit. Please, edit it. I doubt it'll be over done and if it is, we will all kindly point it out and you'll know next time to not take it that far.

There is no line of how far is too far yet...cause no one has crossed the "line" :p haha

If you want to be true to the camera and shot and not edit it. Power too ya brother

Haha this is something I have no clue about. I have the program that came with my camera and I've moved the little slider bar thingys before but that's it haha

I personally like a real shot. It's cool the things you can do but some of the stuff just doesn't feel like photography. I like the HDR stuff and a few other things but I like a photo to look real, as if you were there witnessing it.

This is a shop light in a plastic can ... I use it to keep my well from freezing

I set it to 1 sec and it went from clear to glowing. Looked cool to me - a little fuzzy

Here's my attempt for this week. Gotta say I learned a little bit more about my camera thanks to this challenge. Just wish I had known some of this last week while on vacation lol

    Well fellas, I tried.

I found that I had to put the dial to "s" and then rotate another dial to increase the time the shutter stays open. But it wasn't simple enough for me like "1 second, 2 seconds, etc" it was numbers I had no clue about.

Decided to fart around with seeing how long it stays open and it would stay open forever and the picture just came out overexposed and pure white.

    :(
