I was so ready to set this up and i had put together an offical GB page, but in true 4wheelparts fashion he changed somethings up on me and told me that i had to offically set all this up in person at the store and i would have to fully manage the money and what not. Im not in any position to be handling orders. sorry guys, i was excited about getting a rope, but not thru 4wheelparts at this point

    Look at build!
Do it thru Southeast, Steve is a great gut to deal with and he will likely do it. His 7/8x30' is $125 I'm sure if we got 30+ orders he could get real close to $100 a rope!

So I just wanted to clarify for everyone how the rope measures out when stretched.... Here's what Jim Flowers from Bubba Rope had to say about it...

    Hi Mike,
Thank you for your email. Bubba Rope's measure the specified length before being stretched. They then stretch 30% - 35% more during use.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Happy wheelin'

I don't know why they have to make things so complicated.

Good idea. Probably better just dealing directly with the manufacturer...

Interested in seeing what Colson is able to find out if he makes it to BR today [IMG]

No offense to you OP, but if 4WP was behind the GB, I would probably withdraw and buy my own directly from Bubba Rope.

I tried first but my email to bubbarope.com got returned by 4wp

Trust me in not happy with them either. The only time I deal with them is when I can pick things up directly from them. There shipping blows

Bubba Rope originated from and is ran in FL. I would be interested in the 30' also depending on cost, if its too much, Ill look into the 20'.

emailed Jim flowers at Bubba rope and he sent me directly to 4wp. it seems that bubba rope doesnt want to do any direct business.

So I was informed that Headstrongoffroad.com offers bubba ropes and is great with setting up GBs and they are already a little cheaper then 4wp to start with. pretty much if this one doesnt work im not sure where else to turn

yeah, its easier for him just to sell to vendors rather then fill individual orders, keeps his overhead down

dont blame ya, the only time i gave money to them was when the had the best deal on tires, and i went and picked them up personally.

But within an hour ive got an email back from headstrong. already better then all my other attempts
