Long story short, we were removing the lugs off that tire in the pic, still leaving the tire on, so when we got done with the other side, we could easily go ahead and keep on rucking.

    Wrong.

We were jacking up the other side and the damn tire fell right off the lugs and the rear axel fell right on the border of the wheel and tire.

Fuck right? We were freaking the hell out. We were experimenting with how we were gonna get it out, we couldn't do too much because the bedside was so close to that pole in the pic and i didn't want the same damage i just freaking fixed over christmas break so we decided to hi-lift that side and jeff would remove the tire from under the axel as i lifted from the sliders with the hi-lift. Well the damn hi-lift in the ice slips, the fucking truck slips and jeffs wrists is caught between the body of the truck and the pole.. Im freaking out at this point and he slips his hand out and the body rolls into the pole. Fuck.

We *8 hours later* are able to get the right side on and we get the tires back on and i pull off that pole with 0 damage, i guess the ice helped with that or something idk.

We had the rear diff sitting on a floor jack and that was pretty sturdy last week when we tried this the first time, and nothing happened. This time was different i suppose..

I honestly think us jacking on one side put pressure on the other side and the tire just fell off the lugs and it was holding up that side of the axel by just sitting there so that could be why the truck slid like that. the jack also fell out from under neath the dif. but it works still i know.. :spy: tried engaging it on the ice...

:notsure: not a good idea i know..
