how high are you planning on running in the front? anything over 2.5-3" need the UCA (upper control arms) replaced to fix your caster angle.

    *edit*
id also look at getting extended rear brake lines. front should be fine since you're not extending the travel.

^^ Good call on the uca's.

I love my Kings! What springs are you getting? I knew I was going for a front plate bumper, winch, skids, etc, so I got 700# right off the bat. Otherwise they come with 650#.

I'm going to do a slight lift too. I have a question about those UCA. I have the Baja Suspension installed. (5100 with Eibach). Toyota claims it leveled the truck with 1.75, I have heard 1.6. I want to increase my 5100 to the .85 setting. This will make my front lifted to 2.45 -2.55. Am I good or should I need new UCA?

If you're going "top shelf" I'd do a leaf pack replacement in the rear, rather than add-a-leaf.

And yeah, front upper control arms for better alignment.

But if your budget is a fixed amount, you could do something like an OME lift including the rear leaf pack and upper control arms - as a more 'balanced' solution rather than going for expensive front coilovers matched to an add-a-leaf and factory UCAs.

Yeah, you'll have more money later. And you'll also want sliders, regear, locking differentials, skids, bumper, etc...

you read my mind! sliders, bumper, winch, leaf pack etc...

!!!!With the king rear shocks is the 3in AAL too big in the back? ill be running the king 2.5-3in coilovers in the front.

I've never heard of a 3" add-a-leaf actually. It's not that it's too big - it's just that folks get better performance, ride, and durability out of a leaf pack replacement vs. add-a-leaf. (Exception - there's a deaver leaf pack replacement everyone absolutely hates. But OME Dakar or All Pro expedition leaf pack are good choices and reasonably priced.)

Yeah, I bought it all at the same time, including the rear Dakars. DSM has them cheapest. If you're gonna do it, do it right the first time, imo.

I have the front figured out for my needs, icon co's with lr uca's. I am trying to figure out the rear leaf pack also. I have read so much about most of them. My uses require towing, hauling around a bed full of hunting gear for four months out of the year, and a lot of dirt and gravel roads along with hwy driving. Probably comes out about like this 80% road and 20% offroad.
I know that some people will never be pleased with anything that they buy so I read all the reviews with that in mind. Here is what I have seen so far.
Deavers- suck for hauling, hit the bump stops often, they are soft and are setup more for racing or high speed offroading.
Dakars- Little stiff but I hear that they settle in time, They squeak and make noises (not good).
Allpro- have not read enough about them to impute just yet

Btw, my truck is a 2013 dcsb, 4x4. I decided to go straight to the Icons because of nothing but good reviews on them, but I hear good about fox, and kings also. I would just like to have the perfect leaf springs to match my front 2.5-3" lift in every way. I'll probably just do icon shocks in the rear to go with the front, havent really looked big into the rear shocks also. Any and all advice is welcomed.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Here's a few options I'm looking at:
    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/ICON-Stage-4-Tacoma-suspension_p_971.html
This seems like the best all-around setup with no issues...

    http://www.ishock.com/i-11635542-fo...-w-matching-rear-shocks-and-camburg-ucas.html
This seems to good to be true, like I'm misreading something...I would also add new leafs with this option...

    http://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=12&mo=45&ty=1&yr=2005-2013
-this one requires cutting and welding. I don't know if I'm comfortable with that on my new truck! I do think the 6" fits a long bed double cab better though. I also don't want to run 35's or anything that size with this kit.

These are just what I've been looking at and thought I'd share. See what you think.

I know theres thousands of posts and threads on this topic. But spend the money on the rear!! Patiently biding my time for that magic number in the bank account. But recently I've seen tons of dozers out and about. You see these beautiful front suspension setups. and an AAL in the rear.

Personally I'm going straight to the 2.5 kings front and rear with an All-pro leaf pack to match it. If I could sell my soul and jump to a Spring Under Axle(SUA) pack I would.
