    Mike, you can try switching out bumps to see if it'll help. Wheelers or Timbren? :notsure:

    You probably should look at new bump stops. Wheelers has some. Once we lift our trucks, our factory bumps no longer have the correct geometry. We get away with it on light wheeling; but if you're really flexing it out, you'll run into various issues. The best thing to do is flex it out in the driveway and start taking measurements.

    went in to Spokane Valley's Spalding's yesterday; when i was waiting in line to pay, the guy right next to me was paying for new leafs
    i said "those are purdy... what are they for?"
    he said "a 95 tacoma, i just bought it for $3,500"
    which is exactly what i was there picking up parts for

    anyway... i didn't inquire about the make;
    but, they sell news leafs (his were 3 + overload) at Spaldings for $150 a piece

    i plan on picking up some heavy duty ones from General Spring for a little bit less than that
    still thought i'd throw it out there, though

    How very interesting...I may have to look into them when I am ready to lift my truck. I would like something to hold weight a little better than the factory. I get hay for the horse often enough, and a ton at a time.

    8 bales in the truck, 15 in the trailer. I've thought about trying to do 3 rows in the truck, but haven't tried yet.

    Just restacked/moved the hay last week, still have 120 bales left :)

    Replace the truck with one that has a long bed and don't put the toolbox in. That will give you a little more space for full bales.

    How much land do you have to pull off 180 bales?

    lol hells no - i love my 2 foot bed lol I've got an 85' F150 with an 8ft bed that works well for hauling hay, i've got over 20 bales in the bed before. It wasn't at the house that week so couldn't use it.

    That's "max" 3 acres of field grass right there. Don't know exactly how much the bales averages, but i tell you...throwing those bitches on a 10 foot high hay loft was fucking hard. That was after bucking them on the trailer.
