currently running 2.5 revtek in front with 1.5 adda leaf in the rear. Thats how I bought it.
Sorry to drag y'all back to the details of the build.

Jami did you ever pull the trigger on a different Lift? Or are you still running with blocks?

    well thank you

no, unfortunately Im still stuck on blocks. A new lift will be put on during the rebuild though. I have a bent strut so will be getting new suspension. I could just go with the 5100's for now but I want to go taller. After a few snow runs its apparent I need more lift/Bigger tires. So I am open to suggestions on a lift. I have considered the RCD DB lift. But I've heard so much back and forth on a DB lift I just don't know anymore.

There is a SMALL possibility of a SAS as well through the rebuild depending on how my wallet and I feel in the next few months and depending on how much damage we find once we start pulling it apart.

You are welcome and I would steer clear of SAS because of the electronics on the tacoma. If it were a first gen I would say go for it.

Being in development, I've been on the other side of this though. It's not always laziness...You get project managers "claiming" they have an understanding of the technology in place yet requesting shit that is just not feasible because they lack understanding of the application architecture. Just because they've seen other applications do what they're requesting, doesn't mean our architecture or environment can support that type of functionality.

but I guess now we've moved on to how hot you are?

    1. I have seen her in person. I could tell you how hot she is, but that might lead this thread in another path that gets Jonnie all fired up again, and Jami might need a break for a day.

    2. Jami, I have Will's factory front suspension sitting in my garage. It is the Bilstein shocks. You want them to get your front straitened out?

Yeah Ill weigh out the pros and cons. Ive seen it done to a a couple 2012/2013's and it was awesome.. and done right.

Basically the truck is effed up bad underneath. it may not look like it on the outside. but driving it is a nightmare. I have an axle already.. and the resources to get it done. Depending on the damage it might be easier. At this point the truck is gonna go wheeler/play status and probably is not going to be a daily driver for much longer since it kills me fuel wise with a 100 mile round trip daily.... its a lil depressing in ways.. but exciting in others.

True and I agree completely, but lately its been a select one that flat out just likes to argue. to the point of yelling. Our team is lucky enough to have all pretty technically inclined people who all have been devs. We actually do understand what we are talking about. Ive been on teams with managers that have no clue what they are talking about and its the most frustrating thing ever. In this case its very obviously laziness. no need to jump me about it. I get it.

How do you know she's hot? did you stick a thermometer up her ass or in her mouth? :) If so was she only a few degree above normal? that may condone her as warm rather than hot.

Just 1 finger. That was snug enough going in and just about burnt my finger. I could also feel the heat radiating off of her from 10 feet away.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I was saying you were out of place in your experience. I totally understand your scenario; there's almost always that one developer that insists on being difficult. We have many at our company right now that just refuse to "play nice" and develop for the application as opposed to developing for their ego.

I had one developer at my last company that just straight up told a client "you're so fucking wrong" in the middle of a conference call...completely cut them off mid-sentence and everything. Surprised we didn't lose that account. Needless to say that guy was fired shortly thereafter.
