TheGrayRider is a Prerunner. That's probably why he was having more bells & whistles going off.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Don't let your dog run around on that shit for too long, her pads aren't accustomed to shitty cold ground like that and you do not want to babysit blistered paw pads.

Just an idea for you southern guys. We are used to it up here and more prepared for this kind of weather. It's therefore more dangerous for you than for us. But JUST IN CASE it happens again you should have a couple of cheap items in your truck along with a warm jacket, hat, and mittens. A foil emergency blanket (or a real blanket if room permits) for protection if you get stuck in the middle of nowhere, and some kitty litter. Great stuff to give you traction on ice. You wont get stuck in a few inches of snow. Its the ice that'll getcha. An emergency kit will have the blanket, matches, flares, etc. Worth having in your truck JUST IN CASE. Theres lots of little items you can carry to safeguard you. You you should consider it.

I keep all kinds of 'what if' type stuff in my truck. Just not kitty litter

I have driven on ice before but mostly with a jeep

The traction control on my 02 tacoma does not operate like my '11

It's like the truck is doing what it wants

If I hold the wavy line button down for 3 sec it turns it off so I'm good

    Thanks for the advice

I believe he always says 'Global Climate Change'

It's still 22 degrees headed to a low of 14 degrees

There's some change I can believe

Key word here is " global " , the US consists of approx 4% of the surface area on Earth , but apparently the current cold weather in the US is the determining factor on whether or not the Earth as a whole is in a warming trend

Plus, global warming causes more glacial melt, which in turn causes more extreme weather, including not only hotter temperatures, but colder temperatures as well. Where I live we get more icebergs than we used to, coming along our coastline, causing cooler temps. works both ways.
