Hey guys, simple question - asking for opinions I guess.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a black mesh grill for my 07 Sport? Anyone have experience (pros/cons) with any of these?

    Thanks!
    Bob

Try GrillCraft. Mine is not mesh or black, but they had them.

I have the Grillcraft MX upper and lower on mine. You can see the installation instructions on their site. To install the top, you sawzall the plastic inside the shroud (I believe it's optional but it'd be a pain to get the grill in with it still there). For the bottom, you have to take the front bumper plastic off. It's not hard and the instructions are pretty good.

eautoworks.com has the upper for $156 + shipping... shop around though - my local dealer was able to get them for cheaper.

I bought both upper and lower, but I regret purchasing the lower...

If I wanted to buy JUST the mesh metal and make my own, where would I go?

Try Home Depot. I found some grill-like stuff there that I was going to make a motorcycle headlight rock screen with. I found some online too by searching for "Universal Mesh Grill"

This stuff is 3' x 8' so you should have plenty ($34 plus shipping).

    There's always eBay too:
