Idaho BS thread in the PNW

and it multiplies your matching spare problem by 2x haha since you'll need another odd rim like that and odd ball tire..haha

 

Unless there are really wide wheels (like 12's or some shit) it looks like they have a pretty small BS, like 3.5 or 4.5 inches.

He should just stick to the spare he has. haha I don't even carry a spare now... I will when I go on longer trips though.

 

thats just down right retarded and ignorant you don't carry a full size spare which the stuff you wheel on.

 

I wheel on the same shit.. ive always carried a full size spare and I haven't used a spare in 8 years. that's why when I go to 42's my spare will be a 37.

 

If I go out by myself I'll carry it, but if I am wheeling with other 6 luggers I don't. Mine is just the factory spare anyways. I need a tire gate or something. I don't have anywhere good to store a spare anymore...

The tire gate? haha I don't think my rear bumper sticks out far enough to put a hinge in it.

not really. a spare is a spare. it just needs to get me off the trail and to a tire shop or limp me home. then ill replace the tire as best i can on the rim. i will have a 33" spare for a while, by moab i should find a 35" spare though

ya its just straight dumb to not carry a spare all the time. shooting yourself in the foot and face at the same time

also gents, wanted to share the final video from a recent trail run done by a member of a new local club getting going in my area. a bunch of awesome guys, who are great to wheel with. In my head this group is the future generation of off roading (like we are) younger crowd (with some older guys mixed in) really open and friendly and helpful (no vehicle exclusions) laid back and relaxed and patient, and still very stay the trail and environmentally conscious of our state lands. Glad to be becoming apart of em!

so youre going to pack a 33" spare around but if anything happens and we cant trail repair your tire we are just going to bolt on my Fullsize spare so seems like a wast.
