Can you wire an led bar straight into one of the spare stock fuse box slots? If so and you have done it I have a couple questions about it and will probably ask for a little insight on it. I don't like running a bunch of wires straight off of my battery

Didn't know there were spare fuse slots?

Or are you talking about the empty ones? I guess you could theoretically run power to one of the spare slots in the box and make it work, but that would require you to take apart the stock fuse box...

I still haven't installed my relay/fuse block, but I can't recommend it enough.

Thanks pcbuilder, so it would probably be a little unnecessary to do all of that work?

This is what I have. You have the power and ground wire coming from the box, as well as one extra wire that can be used as a 12 volt source to power your switches.

These are the five sets of wires for each relay. The bigger wire is the one you connect to your accessory. The smaller wire is the control wire that you connect to your switch.

Each relay has a 30amp fuse. The 15amp fuse is for that extra wire that you can use for the switches 12 volt source. The other 4 blank fuse holders can be used for any non-relayed device such as a cb radio.

Here you can see the extra wire, it's blurry, but it's there haha

Once you've seen all of that, this should look pretty understandable to you. The green blanks that are between each red wire are used for the 4 extra blank fuse space on the box.

Or you can get a BlueSea fuse block. Has 12 fuses but no relays.

now when you say to power all your switches, does that just mean if you have a switch with an led indicator on it?

    Haha yeah

Here's a more in depth explanation.

The number 8 tab will be ran to a wire to the dash light circuit

The number 2 tab will run to the 15amp fused wire you were asking about

The number 3 tab will run to the smaller wire of the two colored wires on the relay box

The number 7 tab will be grounded.

I have the cheaper blue seas block PC was speaking of with a 150amp breaker on the side of the battery tray. I tried getting the box he has but never got a response after 5 emails, I think he is really backed up.
