Fuck Atlanta. That whole town could blow off the map and it wouldn't phase me/rant

 

Girlfriend lives down there. It started snowing here at 9:00...didn't really start laying until around 10...which is about what time she text me and told me it was starting to snow.

Not to mention the fact that they had been calling for 2-3" from Atlanta to Savannah for the last few days. They had plenty of time to get ready for it. Apparenlty they thought the weather men were gonna be wrong and decided to not salt the roads as a preemtive measure. Thought they could save some money. Instead, it ended up costing them almost 2million dollars in the State Emergency Fund.

 

I have to agree...

yep - I received separate tracking info for every package. i online chatted a rep and asked for a corp email to file a complaint and they said they only had a phone, so needless to say I asked her if I could teach them how to operate gmail.

no joke, can't imagine my gfs face when ups dropped them off.

thankfully no, shipping was complimentary and everything cost me less than $50. that's 200ft 14gauge 200ft 16gauge and multiple packages of connectors.

Heck yeah, it was awesome! We rode the 4wheelers and took turns behind one on a kneeboard. Even made a 2 foot jump ramp for the board to get some air.
Don't know if the vid will show up or not, but it's my best friend Robert on the Honda Rincon pulling me on the kneeboard- this is before we made the ramp, though. The dudes on the other 4wheeler are some of our friends.

 

I recommend waiting for the $50 off if you spend $100+, I hear if you call in you can get the deal sometimes if online already exceeded the 1k people.
I couldn't pass up 400ft of wire and a half full container of connectors for $50.
