    Ya, when the resi is off the top, the resi piston plunges as the shock compresses, which.means it's losing efficiency. When its off the bottom, it's plunging on the rebound side, so all the oil gets pushed through the valving all the way through the compression stroke.

    Also with the 2.5" you have more shims, which means you can do more with the valve stack

    I thought I read an article a few days ago saying that Toyota wasn't going to make a "Raptor" style Tundra. If I had the money for a Raptor I would use the money to buy a used newer model Tundra for around the mid 20's and use the rest of the money for a better suspension and supercharger. That's just me though, mainly because I've never been a fan of Ford and have always been biased towards Toyota. Trying to convince the wife to trade in her Jeep for a Tundra so we can have both, haha. Anyways, there's also an article floating around about the Raptor's bed frames bending and cracking from using it for what Ford says it can do.
