My skids showed up today and there wasn't any Bolts, washers, nuts, nothing but skid plate beef. So I was wondering if you got hardware with your skids?

    Yeah. I not a total idiot. Just 99.9% :D
Opened all boxes lifted out all the pieces to make sure it wasn't under something. unwrapped the supports to see if it was wrapped up inside. Nothing....

I emailed bud to see if I couldn't get a list and pick up the bolts at the local homedepot.

    Just checking. :D

I had lost my bolts during an extended maintenance period (I've had several ) and was able to get new grade-8 hardware at the local Lowes.

I actually have my skids pulled right now. If you like I'll take some measurements of the hardware tonight and post up what I've got.

    Hey Rick,

You should have gotten hardware with that stuff...if you didn't get any then they forgot to package it.

Bud is a super cool guy. Real easy to deal with and he responds to email very quickly. He has shipped out my hardware. Today I have been painting them black. :)

I did forget. The bummer is that it's because I'm programming. Martie's a couple states away so I'm sitting here getting drunk my myself.

Actually, it's not much different than the times when she's here.

having a problem with the install. ifs skid is hitting bottom of engine. Do i need to use the spacers from the oem skids. Two were just oversized nuts the other two were real spacers. ?

Make sure you are also using the OEM Skid Brackets....and some pictures would probably help out a little more...:)

no diff drop i will go snap a photo. I put it back on with the over sized bolt spacers that were on the oem skids.seemed to fit better. gonna go see if the mid lines up.

here are some pics of the situation. The bolt that is being used for a spacer came off the oem skid. that keeps the skids off the things in picture 2.

the frustration continues. After putting on the the ifs and mid skids using the spacers in the pic I didn't like the big gap between the two and the hardware was too short. I took out the spacers to see if it would help cinch it up and all it did was make the skid sit on that thing on the bottom of the engine(excuse my ignorance) making the bottom of the ifs skid bow out.I will get some pics up tomorrow. this sucks and has been nothing but a fucken hassle.
