Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Don't order based ob my reasoning. I himd and a hawd for about 3 months about those lights.

I did a little review on my impression of them a while back when I went down to SEO and saw them in Steve's FJ...basic run down is this...

    Retrofit> LED> HID

It has everything to do with light output and what kind of flooding you do. The reason retros work so well is that they all but eliminate flooding and focus the output very cleanly... but the cut off of the LED was shocking when I saw it. Good crisp cut off and no light pollution due to the way they have the CREEs mounted.

After you get em, and dial them in lemme know. Plenty of buildings to compare cut off lines and stuff near your house. Will answer a lot of questions, if its close enough its a far cheaper alternative then a full blown retrofit.

Will do. I'm interested in seeing them side by side. The led light bar pumps out some serious light and I am hoping that these do as good since they each pump out 2600 lumens.

If they do anywhere near what the retros do I'll be happy with half the price and none of the work/problems associated with it.

Between Phil, Linwood, and Aaron I'm going to need a second and third mortgage.

I'm thinking this will have to be a sticky because everyone will be interested (myself included) if they work. I'm sure there are many doubters, but if you show them some pics that's all it will take for an avalanche to begin...

Told Steve I would do a write up on how I liked them here for TW. I have seen them in person on his FJ and was impressed with the light output and color but I want to see how ot goes install wise and how they do in our trucks. That being said it won't be a long term test since I am headed out of town for a few months in a couple of weeks...

    Just gussets... everywhere

You literally just plug em in. Way simpler than hids. Removing my hids took more time than installing the LEDs.

I hope so...all the reviews I saw of them for jeeps involved cutting the stock grommet up a bit. We shall see. I'm not afraid of installing them but rather would like them to be a super easy install and work well!
