    Father in law tried to open my slider when I left him in truck and went to get some water at the gas station.

    I got back in the truck and he said "man, ur slider window wont open u should check it out"

    I laughed and popped out Matts locking bar in 2 seconds and opened the slider for him.... He was impressed cuz he didnt even see the damn bar! Blends right in.... Now thats security I didnt count on. People INSIDE sometimes cant even see it to open the window!

    I looked in to it the 1st gen and the window track is small / rubber so a bar wouldn't stay securely in place.

    Got mine in the mail yesterday and installed it this morning. Fits snug and doesn't rattle, for the most part. With the non-removable headrests in the Access Cab, it's well hidden. :thumbsup:

    The window sill width is uneven. In my truck, the sill is wider toward the inboard end, so the security bar can rattle a bit going over bumps. I used a 2" long piece of heat shrink as a rubber shim to take up the gap:
