Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
I've dented my DOM sliders. not bent, but dented. at that point, it comes downt to wall thickness, more than how the pipe/tube was bade.

I have strengthened my frame a little in the front because of what you are talkign about. speciffically, the mounts where you bolt up the bumper.

much like the CV axle or tie rod example, no matter what you do, there will be a weak point. the goal is to make that weak point a cheap and easy to swap out part, while maintaining reliability. It's unfortunate, whith how expensive it is, but armor is a wear item. generally, you frame is not.

I tent to agree that you whatever breaks should be built better and stronger the nex time so it doesn't break again. the two exceptions to that rule are:
    1) the new weak link is far more costly or difficult to optain/replace
    2) you and/or your passengers become the weak link.

When Mark was working on his SAC, and posting some of the parts he was making, I said in a joking manner, that he was building it so strong, that he was going to hit an obstackle hard, and nothing on the truck would give, leading to his face meeting the steering wheel to take up the impact. while i was joking, that sort of chain reaction is a very real danger to concider. your vehicle may be able to take it......but what if you can't?

Arlington PD requires a 4 year degree.
I was talking to my pharmacy manager on me going back to school for pharmacy because it's what I know and he advised me against it because the market is becoming saturated so I might have a hard time finding a job or even getting in (with my back ground in working in pharmacy I highly doubt it) and job security and he told me APD after a few years get to about 80k in salary and benefits out the ass which to be honest doesn't sound like that bad of an idea especially if me being bilingual Asian American is for some reason being favored lol

    Helmet ftw! :headbang:

Joking. Agreed, but I don't think I have or wheel hard enough to get to that point. The main reason for the rigidity of the DOM rear would be to lessen the damage of a rear end collision, the frame would be the weak point of course but that would make a good excuse to bob the bed :cookiemonster:
