lol.. thought I'd join the swinging party.

Anyways, I'm on the trail with plenty of people who run 40" 42" or whatever with a 22r with no problem. Its not about power its all about that low end torque that comes from a double case with a 4.7 gear set at the rear case that will get you over or climb up

I know, bro, I'm just giving you crap. lolol :D

I'm 100% with you. Gears will get you up and over the rocks--too much engine will break your junk.

lol I was just gonna say...... (to add to the swinging) I made some mildly impressive burnouts in the discount tire parking lot on my brandnew 37" Goodyear Kevlars with my 5vz/5.29s..... with an auto, no less. hahaha :D The 3.4 is an amazing engine...

He blew up a t-case output doing a wheelie a month of so after but hasn't killed a u-joint or driveline yet. Now he has a chromo output. :p

Blew up both birfs and the front 3rd but that thing was fucked when he put it in, when he first got 40s, stepping up from 36s, in 4wheel parts parking lot, grand opening in Reno, on some junk cars. We were first to run the cars, at the very end of the day when most of people had gone, we were fucking around and POP.

Anyway, stock 3rds have held up amazing since.

you guys got side tracked.. We where talking about being able to spin your tires when your in mud and snow to be able to hammer down and get 30 or 40 mph out of them so they clean out and keep pulling you up a hill.. i don't dissagree about gearing and rock crawling but in snow and mud esp when talking about hill climbs it's a different story..

I drove to mink creek with him and on the road to the trail since its a long up hill climb I had to pull off at the trail head and wait 10 min for him to get there one he was there and we dropped into 4 low he had no issues.
