    Well I had a hard time finding anyone that sells roof mounts specifically for 1st gens. And on top of that it would probably be someone like rigid that would sell the mounts designed for their bars. So unless you plan on fabbing up your own design, good luck. I've seen people buy premade mounts designed for different trucks that they used and made modifications to make it fit their bar, but then you might as well fab up your own if you have the tools. I barely have tools to do it myself. Well my brother does.. But I am making my own and came up with a design that may be universal for 1st gens. Well, for my specific bar that is. But in theory it should work for any roof bar. Just figuring out the length to fit other peoples bars is the trick. but what I was thinking, is I could come up with a design that I could fab and sell, but in pieces. And would only require the purchaser to test fit and position the pieces in place, tac weld it, then cut off the excess and paint. But someone who can do this should be able to just have the tools to make their own anyways. Idk. Just something I'm thinking about..

    3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
    I could have some made here. But I've seen a couple trucks on instagram with em ounted from the doorsills. But, I don't like how they hang over the windshield

    My bar is an Amazon bar from the seller ledstore. Its using 3watt cree leds rated at 24k lumens.

    So, who would be interested in a completely universal roof mount bar for 1st gens??
    Any bar. Any length (50" or under).
    Options like being able to mount your bar directly on top or arched over windshield with included tabs.
    Able to mount a multitude of bars or singular bar. Can mount reverse facing bars along with the front facing.
    All that would be required by consumers would be to drill the holes in the door jam. Everything else would be fastened down using bolts.
    This is just something I am considering designing and selling.
    Question is, how many would be interested in purchasing?

    I would be very interested once trigo makes it to the post office! What would a set cost?

    And not sure. Considering companies sell some door jam arches for like $200, probably a bit more than that. Have no clue what costs I'll be lookng at for producing. I will probably make a few and see how quickly they sell and make a decision whether or not to produce more stock..
    So once I've finalized my design and made a few I'll post em up..

    I'd be interested in selling them thru my online store once the final product is out, any pictures?
    i get lots of requests for custom mounts but most places I've contacted to build them are either
    A) Hacks with welds that look like a bird crapped on them
    B) Can't stick to a schedule to save their life
    C) Just not trustworthy

    totally agree. I have a 5w single row bar that will go on the front of my steel bumper - 8* spot patten and 120* flood on the sides. Almost prefer this style to my 60/30 double row.
