That is one AWESOME photo! I love the way you can see the road snaking through the landscape, even through the city lights.

Thanks guys! It turned out a lot better than I thought it would.
I need to get my stuff cleaned. I beat the shit out of this camera, and it goes EVERYWHERE with me. Living in the desert, stuff gets dirty quick. There used to be a camera shop in town, but they went under. :( Next time I make it to a big city I'll have to get it cleaned.

I've never had one cleaned either but I can't imagine it being all that hard to do. Or all that expensive I guess either ha whichever.

That works. Gonna be lugging a lot of weight tho. I'd take the 3 and a TC. You should have enough light for that to work.

That's awesome! Did you try a crop that lets the headlights exit the frame at the left corner? I love how you can follow the headlights into the town and the mountains behind.

I like this one best. Such a cool picture!

(as I was scrolling down, I noticed you could crop the sky to just above the peaks-at the tops of the first clouds. So many possibilities.)

Just do it yourself. Usually puffing on the sensor with an air blower will do the trick well enough. I have a Giottos air blower, it looks like a small rocket. DO NOT use compressed air from a can. For dust and oil that refuses to leave after blowing with air, you can look into one of the wet cleaning solutions like Sensor Swab, or do what Leica does for their sensors and get a gel stick:

    http://photographylife.com/product/sensor-gel-stick

Make sure you have a full battery (or at least 75% charge to be safe), and you can access the sensor cleaning function in your camera's menu. Follow the instructions on the screen to open and close the shutter for cleaning.

Yup, noticed it on mine too in my last pics.

There's a shop in Atlanta that does it for $30. I know it does you no good out there though. lol

    TJ! Great shot!

I'm trying to be creative for this weeks challenge but creativity isn't a strong-point of mine... Probably be some sort of panning shot.

Here's a couple leftovers from the 1 sec exposure challenge.. With a shortage of free time for shooting this week I was kinda forced to try and get creative around work:
