I have an OME lift and I really like it. I went 885x with no top plate spacer. Ended up w/ about 2 and 3/4" of lift. (ie. I did not get a full 3", but I could have if I wanted to add the top plate spacer) I also have tall skinny tires (285s) with a 3 and 5/8" backspacing wheels. I only rub my cab mount slightly in off camber situations. I have stock UCAs, but I will be getting new ones (either LR or TC) becuase my alignment is .01* out of factory spec and I can't get recon/safety with it. Personally the alignment is fine and it drives fine, its just showing red on a piece of paper that deems it not safe. If I could do it again, I'd go with the OME lift and add the LR UCAs, toytec was a cheap option for me as was wheelersoffroad. But, I guess I could have asked this first... what type of off roading do you do? If you don't plan on taking it in the dirt at all, just get a leveling kit and save yourself the money for other mods.

I'd lock both if you changing the front gearing.

If 4wp was going to replace all of the seals o-rings and gaskets, 4k is not a bad price if it also includes the gears and lockers, compressor.

    Oh boy...
The gears are only 400 and thats not even truck fest deals... i checked today

I have no clue what it all includes but $4000 was just labor cost. add 1600 for all the parts.

im only gunna run my 35"s till these tires wear out. After that im down sizing to 33"s. I like the look and gas milage wayyyyy better not to mention not having to replace my wheel barrings every couple years because of the excess stress on those components.

Yeah i wanna go to the Ratha's school of re-gearing and air locking! :D

I Think ECGS (East Coast Gear Supply) can send you fully set up thirds with gears of your choice, install kit, labor for $1100.00 each end which includes a $450.00 REFUNDABLE core charge when you send your in your stock unit.I have no idea what the locker costs but, they also offer a warranty (not sure how long) on their pre assembled thirds so all you would do is pull axles and third members, change whatever else is needed before reassembly.I think you can save 800-1000 by going
that route. If this is incorrect someone please correct me. If i were going to regear i would check with ECGS before giving anything to 4WP.

Ratha - when you added in the locker, did you need to change out the whole rear axel and diff or only the guts in the diff? So this gets rid of the LSD completely right, and only has the air locked diff? Is there a button on the dash that you use to engage?

Anyone else who knows can please answer as well.

    just the guts.

I pulled my rear diff off to replace the seal...it was a "fun" 7 hours...

It will have a button for the compressor and another button for each locker. The manifold has 2 ports for a front and rear solenoid which is switch controlled.

I think the engagement rules for the e-locker applies to the air...moving less than 5mph so you don't grind the gears.
