    What haven’t I changed?
Why not get a steel plate rear without a carrier and just put your spare inside the vehicle? Not like you have an open bed...

because it's kinda ugly, you don't gain much clearance and it's expensive. I'd rather get the TC for the extra money, but then I need a matching spare and I need the space in the truck to haul my groceries :( :anonymous: Spare is definitely gonne be underneath for a while. DOn't want it on teh roof either

Hahah thanks for the links man, but I have an 03. I would pay 711 for a rear bumper in a heart beat. Whitson metalworks makes an awesome rack, but it's around 700 bucks too. I also just have no need for anything beyond the stock rack with ratchet straps, rather put that money towards some skids

that's the part I don't want, I just want a clean rear bumper lol. As you have probably seen shit is really expensive. Check out the Shrockworks group buy if you want a front bumper or sliders. I have their bolt ons and will be getting the bumper. You will wait 3-4 months, be warned, but it's about the best deal out there and their craftsmanship is incredible

Give it another day or two, admin will get it fixed. It hasn't been this bad in years.

I know the dude in Philly, I'm at his shop all the time, he's a mile away from me. The Whitson racks are awesome and Josh (whitson) is a great guy. If you want a rack that's the way to go

Isn't that the scx10 or some shit? Not the wraith?
Good thing you have a spare.. It would really suck to be stuck somewhere and not be able to get home if you get a flat... :jerkoff:

Nice exacto knife btw.. Makes me nervous just looking at it. Why don't you get a handle for it so you don't drop the blade and step on it barefoot later

NWTI makes a kit for the 4runner now. It's something like 12g steel though and i'd want 3/16... Plus my welding skills are, uh not. It would be cool to say you built the bumper too.

Seems like a good time to invest in a welder!

Honestly i would buy a welder if i was a home owner, renting now idk if i hop around a few more places i cant say ill always have a place for it. im a carpenter by hobby, so when i first started welding it was fun to work with different material other than wood. my job now has a great opportunity to move up and become a welder if i choose so, just have to put in time with the company.
