Yeah - got a plan for installing a snorkel with fiberglass fenders? ;)

Gonna take you a while sitting there with a dremel...

I should shut up though. I've been eyeing fiberglass fenders as well. :p

I'm considering taking a stab at the Trailer Products version. Fender flares are starting to feel kinda meh.

An F-450 tow truck? Damn, that guy must've BARELY tapped you.

It would be nice to see the bumper on your truck sometime before the end of 2014. :poking:

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
That is hilarious! Good one Stallone

:pout: "Wish I could do that"

honestly, Donnie did a badass job wheeling, esp. since it was his first time driving off-road.

:Woot: I like the looks of the Safari Snorkel vs Airflow as well, but I'm not too picky. It will be months before I get any new mods anyway. I know David (mutilatedjak) installed his on his own.

Here's a great write-up and info. about the one needed for our 2nd Gens:
    http://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/tech_2ndgenTaco_snorkel.html

Damn, that sucks Andrew! So you're having insurance buy you a Brute Force rear?

    I'm itching for a Mod-Day / Meet'N'Greet too!!!

Ive rerouted all of the breathers except for my transmission one (on the to do list). Plus if I really want to scuba dive, I need to replace my fan with an electric one. Ive been in deep enough water where my fan was hitting the water.

Though as far as importance, snorkel > breathers. I can still get home with some water in my diffs heh heh

I wont lie...I think I have pics of me crying when I cut the hole in the side of my truck. I used a dremel and it went well. Granted do some reading and measure like 100x before you cut.

anyone still interested in a snow/trail run on Feb 9th? I was thinking either somewhere off Hwy 2 (never been, would be fun to explore) or http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/WABDR

    6-7 or 7-8

I am open to other options since I dont know the areas too well, and the ones I do know are closed heh heh

May I also recommend dielectric grease on your electrical connections? I generally avoid big puddles but have got into the habit of using the stuff when hooking up electrical. It's a bit messy but the stuff works like a charm.

Unfortunately, I'm out. I need to get a couple mods installed and a couple things fixed.

Frankly, 'puddle' is a conservative word for what these guys were messing around in. That was a borderline pond.

BensonX had the mad confidence after successfully fording the water to Surprise Lake :p

did anyone notice their radiator fan splashing in the water? Or where the bow waves enough to keep most of the water out of the engine bay
