Thanks, I have heard that spacers are a no no when offroading :)

No it's not that type of spacer. All it does is adds preload to the springs by replacing the spring seat with a thicker one.

OOOOO I'll look into that as well. I take it the OME is some sort of rear setup? I have neglected looking at suspension because well, i bought the Baja and dont want to throw away that money because of buying the baja, I'm sure you understand what im talking about lol. Just read the description on there website THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!!

Right?! You will also be pleased to know that the baja rear shocks have enough travel to handle expo packs. So we can be on a full 3" lift for the cost of leaf springs and that spring seat!

Old Man Emu has their line of leaf springs called Darkar. They also sell the optional add-a-leaf DX29 which adds lift, but more importantly weight capacity. Once I add my rear hc bumper w/ tiregate w/ folding table, and fill up my tool box (that I don't have yet) I will need the extra capacity.

Got some LED headlight bulbs and made a video

The LEDs are not perfect, but they are a nice improvement over stock. They don't get hot which could be an issue in a snow storm, but I have driven through some bad snow with them and haven't had a visibility issue yet.

    Pros:
    Brighter
    White Color
    Easy to install
    DOT Approved

    Cons:
    Expensive ($150 range)
Not a dramatic difference between Hi and Low beams.
Don't get hot so excessive snow may not melt on the lens cover

Awesome review! I have been on the fence about going LED vs HID's or just keeping my stock headlights.

A Retrofit would be way better. If you just want something brighter/whiter then these are perfect and easy as hell to install.

Oh for sure, I just cant justify spending $700 bucks on some headlights at the moment :)

Thats where I was at. At the end of the day they are only headlights. I am more than pleased with these.

My retrofit is my favorite mod by far and most justified cost wise IMO...Can't watch the video from work but I am interested in seeing the output. If you've ever owned a car with HID's you'll never wanna go back to halogen.

I have owned a car with HIDs and I hate my stock bulbs because of it. I would love to do a retrofit, but I am not good enough to do it myself.

...:(... No I didn't. I had family friend do it. He owns a body shop, and hooked it up. I did beat back my pinch weld with a huge hammer does that count?

One day I will have to try it. Right now I have lots of mods taking up all the extra money I am not supposed to be spending. I guess I will move out next year Mom and Dad!

    Ahh, nice! Haha

Yeah, I don't think I would have even thought about doing it if my lenses cost nearly $300....

As for the last part, I'm hoping that wasn't true... Haha
