Intermitent Wipers Working Intermitently

So for about 2 weeks now, my intermitent wipers are only working some of the time.

When I turn the switch to the intermitent setting, sometimes the wipers work as though they are on the low speed setting.

Anyone else had this problem?

I don't recall ever reading about this one.......

So far I haven't been able to put any logic as to what causes them to work or not, and I haven't done any mods or other wiring projects in over 6 months......

Fortunately I am still under warranty, but you know if I take it in they won't be able to recreate the problem......

Thoughts..... Ideas?

 

Since the stalk switch has everything minus the wires and wiper motor, looks like a bad stalk wiper switch assembly.

You are basically stuck waiting for it to be more frequent in failing or just being adamant to the dealer that it is bad and push them to replace it.

You tried running it in all 4 positions?
Are you saying it DOES work most of the time?


I'd take it to the dealer before messing with anything. If you try to fix it yourself and screw something up, they could deny the warrantee because you tampered with it.
