    The snow blower is now completed. The carb did need a decent cleaning so I hope that fixes the problem of losing power after it has been in operation for about an hour. I cleaned and regapped the spark plug as well.

    Boyd:
    The Toro is a single stage 2 stroke. The float bowl had some rust but I cleaned that out. I also removed the main jet and blew it out with carb cleaner. cleaned the other passageways in the carb and reassembled.

    I was surprised there was no air filter. I guess they figure there is no dust when you are blowing snow.

    Personally I don't like the lack of an air filter. Way to easy to suck in powder.

    I still haven't even started mine up. It's going tio take at least 1' of wet heavy stuff otherwise Ill just shovel. My driveway has been a ice rink because I only do my sidewalks and walkway to my door :D
