OK, have you done this?

I'm driving just as it's getting dark. A little snow blowing around. While keeping my eyes on the road I feel for the heater fan switch to turn it up. And ... I ended up putting it in 4Hi. Has anybody else done this?

I have a 2010 . Not too sure if the dash confiuration is similar but I have never had that happen . I did illuminate the shifter dial mind you .

 

I did the opposite, the first time I went to switch out of 4wd I accidentally turned down the fan.

Nope. The two dials are sufficiently far apart.

However, I have mixed up the temperature and vent position knobs when trying to turn them without looking. Wish they made the temperature control a horizontal slider.

 

Never hit the 4x selector.

I have. Or sometimes after the car wash the person cleaning the dash switched it on. That has happened to me twice. Probably just to mess with me.

 

Illuminate your 4wd switch and you won't have it happen again.
